Wow, what a month. It's great when you get to experience as much implant related information as we did, but it makes for a hectic schedule.
On the 15th Lee and I traveled to Louisville for the Louisville Area Aestheti Dentistry Club's meeting when Dr. Ivan Fortin presented on, among many other things, indications for the Marius Bridge implant restoraion. Other topics include the resurgence and success of screw retained crown/abutment combos and extreme soft tissue management.
Later that month we got to meet some phone-only friends at the 2008 ICOI Prosthetic Symposium in Chicago. It was more than pleasant to be in Chicago for something other than Mid-Winter and to experience temperatures more prone to shorts and t-shirts than big winter jackets. The speakers were top of the line, and there was much less murmuring about the various concepts presented than there was in Las Vegas this past spring. Among the presenters were the folks from Team Atlanta and notables like Carl Misch and Lyndon Cooper (pictured).
