Like you, we've been following recent developments related to outsourced dental products.  Several major companies have presences outside of the United States, and several major dental laboratories both exist outside of and advertise inside of the United States.

Joe and Lee Coursey of Russellville Dental Lab attended the ICOI Winter Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Febuary 7th through the 9th.  The conference dealt with the multitude of issues surrounding the use of oral implants in restorative dentistry, but also served to show what can be done.

RDL is happy to announce the final testing of our new Lab Prescription.  It's good to revisit things at least once in 50 years, right? 

The new lab prescription is available to download from our website.  We would like to have feedback on anything that you see that could use improvement or anything we've omitted. 

The goal of the new prescription to enable easier communication of relevant patient information as quickly as possible.  When the new prescriptions are mailed out, they will be NCR (non-carbon duplicates) in standard letter notepads.  This means that you're not hauling an odd shaped pad from one room to the next. 

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve this communication process. 

We're always looking for new ways to improve the transfer of information from doctor to lab.  The more information we have, the better the restoration - and the better the restoration, the less chair time and the greater patient satisfaction.
