The beginning of 3Q09 marked the beginning of the new Procera 4.0 from Nobel Biocare.  Following their launch of the new product line at the Chicago Dental Society's Midwinter Meeting this past February the new scanner is well on it's way to being the new definition of what technology in the lab can do.

Although the complete product line is not available yet, Russellville Dental Lab has been selected as a member of a world wide group of dental laboratories that is responsible for testing the new products that the Procera Scanner will produce.  Every day we are helping to improve what is being produced.

Ultimately the new scanner will product models from scanned impressions, integrate with the NobelGuide software concept, and help labs produced never before seen quality products in a much faster environment.

At the 2008 Chicago Mid-Winter Dental Meeting Nobel Biocare announced the new shaded Zirconia copings for Procera.  Immediately following that meeting RDL started producing these new copings and you may well have already had one to place.
